Relaying For Life 2012

Went to Relay For Life today to walk with my team, and sweeties, and prayed the rain would hold off, but seems just didnt want to listen ..I know we needed it, but still a bit bummed I didn't get to walk as much as I had wanted to.. The boys had fun checking out the different sponsors, and teams like his Tae Kwon Do teacher that was there, and chatted with him and used their bouncer, hung at our team and made some new friends, and was just a great experience for them I think.. were told we had to go sit on our cars till the rain let up {around 1 am} so drove the boys home where the sun came out..:( went to go back , but everyone packed up n went home.. Next year.. will kill it next year for sure! :) 

Happy 6th Birthday Cookie!! :)

King for a day... Brought in some cupcakes for all his friends to enjoy at Lunchtime, and having some special cake Mommy made  to share w Grandma later on after school..Happy 6Th birthday Cookie!! We love you soo soo much!! 

A Legoland Birthday!

Took Brendan n the family to Legoland for Brendans birthday.. Boy did they have a ball!! Brendan discovered, he LOVES roller coasters.. Took him on his first "non kiddie" roller coaster ride n he's hooked! FINALLY I have someone to go on the rides with! whoo hoo! and between the sights and rides and things to do , he had an awesome day! as did we} Definitly was amazed at all the Lego buildings and look forward to going back again! :)

Thomas had a great time celebrating his birthday at the Clearwater Aquarium with his friends and enjoyed some cupcakes the day before at school with his friends and after had  a great cake with Grandma and the family that was made with love by Brendan who mixed it, Mom who baked it, and Dad who iced it.. His brother personally picked out his presents and a card to tell how much he loves him which brought tears to his eyes.. Can't believe he's a "pretween' already! The time just flies by all too quickly! August he will be attending Middle School with the big kids ! Where does the time go?

TSA Classes

Thomas has really enjoyed his after school Technology Student Association class .. can't believe the sessions are over already! He made an awesome catapult to compete next month with his buddy Brandon,and is facing 5 different schools, and designed a chair made of cardboard without using any tape, screws or adhesives.. he's got a great mind for science that one..:)Next year, Creating a water tower out of recycled materials!{Milk jugs, piping, wood scraps etc. Here he is helping design a Cardboard lounger with his temamates Alex & Diego..:)

First Lost Tooth!

Yesterday, Brendan lost his FIRST tooth at school, and I mean LOST it!! According to him, he was feeling it with his tongue on the way to the car rider line, and it was there, and went to feel it again, and it was GONE!! When I picked him up he was SOO upset!! We walked down the breezeway where he thought he might have lost it to try and find it, but between the pebbles and dirt and gravel, and other miscellaneous items, we were unable to find it..:(Sucks cause I save them all so I was JUST as bummed as he was!! He was upset because he said " Now the Tooth Fairy isn't going to bring me any money because I don't have a tooth for him! " I told him "the Tooth Fairy has a special bell that goes off  when a tooth falls out so he knows who to go to, so he already knows to come visit you.."and said " I'm sure he'll leave you a little extra something for going through all that trouble to try and find the tooth for him" and that " I'm sure you're not the first child this has happenned to " and proceeded to tell him about his cousin Max who one tooth went down the drain when he went to rinse it, and Someone else I know swallowed theirs! So he started feeling a little better  after hearing that! ;) So of course, the kids go to bed, and Tom & I find we have NO cash on us! I mean of COURSE we have no cash! why WOULD we have cash when the Tooth Fairy is supposed to visit? UHGH. So I went to the ATM, but all you can take out is 20's, so I bought Tom some coffee for the morning and gave Brendan the rest so all hope wasnt lost like his tooth! ;) It was his first one, so it was a little much, but next one will be a little less.. { he's had his eye on a Bionicle toy that costs 7.99, but now wants the bigger model so is gonna save his Tooth Fairy money, chore money , piggy bank money etc..n save up n buy it.. smart kid! Wish I was that good w money at his age! all I wanted was a Snickers or Laffy Taffy! LOL Someone mentioned giving a toothbrush as a prize , so next time Im gonna incorporate it when the next one falls out..;)

Quinton Darwin

I would like to announce I have JUST become the proud Auntie to THE most Beautiful baby boy Quinton Darwin! Doug & Tara, ya done good! He is GORGEOUS!! and such a sweet baby!   Can't wait to meet him in person when we come up in the summer! SOOOO adorrable!! <3 p="p">
