Grandpa's; {updated}

So far we're havin a good time at Grandpa's- the boys are bein REAL good - we had a flight from hell- Brendan sat on my lap and was fidgety and cried most the time I think because of his ears not popping - who knows? Then he had a poopy diaper ON the plane that had to be changed in the bathroom- try and imagine THAT one! He had his head pinned aginst he corner of the wall while laying on the floor while I was sitting on the toilet changing him! You can't get any more cramped or uncomfortable or inconveinienced than that as far as diaper changing goes! And I couldnt get ANYTHING out my diaper bag to sooth him because he was on my lap and I couldn't reach anythin without hitting my heat on the seat in front of me or hittng the brim of my hat n the seat in front of me for that matter- VERY frustrating! - THEN THE POWER WAS OUT AT THE TERMINAL -so they had to bring stairs and do the luggage manually and let us sort through it, and we had a giant rainstorm..when we got home, it was like what's next?it's a bit chilly here and I didn't pack sweaters because they said nice weather- never trust a weatherman! But its shaping up nicely.. cant believe a week is gone by already! Brendan is walking more n more steps and trying to talk - I took a picture and he said "cheese'! so cute! He says "Hi" now too to everyone and got swiped by dads cat and keeps bonking his head from walking n falling. Thomas is being the man so He's tooomuch lately but being VERY good for me... But I almost hung him because we came out of a store yesterday and he jumped in front of a moving car- I almost had a stroke! I yanked him back and gave him the lecture of his life until he was in tears. We saw a momma n baby deer while on a drive through the mountainside- too cool! Today we're going to a graduation party, so lots going on! We'll back home next Sunday.The time is just flying by! I'm sure all will be happy to be home and happy to have us home, for now I'm just enjoying our stay and loving the views and company and weather and fun times.

Slap 'A Color

We just had our house painted today . Thought it was time for a change. Here's the before and after- For two guys they did a nice job- had it power washed,spackled it, roof and even did the garage floor ..here's before and after.. I thought it came out pretty nice- brings out the landscaping more and gives it a bit 'a charachter whereas before it was missing a little something- like a blank slate.. Now it had a bit of attitude :)

Going to Grandpa's

Tomorrow Me & the boys are going to dad's upstate . Tom I'm sure will be glad to have us out of the house so he can get some work done and have some peace and quiet! SO if anything exciting happens online, I won't be able to find out until I get back. Dad has internet, but it's dial up since he lives in the mountains and it's Reeeeeaaallllyy slllloowwww!! so I can't guarantee anything but I'll try and check in I'll bring my camera and be sure to post pics- you know me- picture taking freak! I'm really looking forward to going- it should be a fun experience for the boys too- there's alot they can explore and do Wish us luck!

So Busted!!

I'm cleaning the house today, { the bathroom in my room} and I asked Thomas to keep on an eye on his brother while I'm doing this so I can get it done, He says "OK mom" he's usually good at this and if he does something wrong to him I'll hear a " brendan! bad baby! even if he looks at him wrong LOL so I figured I'd hear him across the house.. well, I had to come out for more paper towels , and this is what I find ,, Thomas playing Xbox jumping up and down, and This..

When Ya Gotta Crash..

While I was surfing on the computer, the boys were playing, {so I thought - I DID notice the lil guy was a bit quiet for a while} I noticed a slight whimper, and looked over to find Brendan passed out in front of the television. I guess it was naptime! I would have preferred lunchtime since it was so close , but his internal clock said otherwise! So I took a quick snapshot and gently passed him off to his crib for a quick nap. We'll have a quick nap and then some lunch , then head over to Grandmas house when he wakes up and go to the community pool for a nice swim in the afternoon. Its heating up nicely. He won't be so cranky either. When ya gotta sleep ya gotta sleep who cares where it is right? As long as theres a soft spot to lay that sweet head?

First Catch

This evening Tom and Thomas went fishing together before he goes to Virgina this week and well, Thomas caught a fish! he was so proud! Its nothing to sneeze at, but the look on his face is too cute- Its his first fish he ever caught and well, you just know these things have to be documented! so here ya go! Thomas' first catch...

I Love My Family!

My Kindergarten Graduate

I just have to say how fast time goes these days. My lil boy is graduating Kindergarten already.. I donno to whether to laugh, smile, cry, hold my head up or all of the above! It was just yesterday I was visiting him in the NICU everyday for 2 weeks praying for his lil butt to come home and him yankin a feeding tube out of his nose by himself , and dealing with his temper tantrums and the potty training, and here he is movin on to first grade in the fall! Boy this year went fast! Too fast! I had a baby , and even HE'S past the one year mark already! ssomebody stop the clock for just a minute so I can catch my breath and just stop and watch for just a fleeting moment please!! My Gahd! Where does the time go??! Congradulations baby Boy! You did it! Onto 1st grade we go!

Day at Universal

Yesterday we decided to to go to Universal Studios in Orlando.First We decided to pack the night before and lay our clothes out so we would just have to make breakfast and be on our way and get there early. Well, Thomas, As excited as he is, Wakes up at 6:30 in the morning, gets fully dressed, comes in our room, and says, "everybody, it's time to get up, " it' s time to get ready and leave..'" I was like {half asleep}" dude, it's 6:30 in the morning, the park doesn't open for another 3 hours.." He didn't care ,he was rarin to go ! So we got up and got ready to go - it was gonna take a couple hours to drive there anyway, by the time we got there it was 10 anyway, so he was right on time.. Back to the story,- What a blast! We decided to purchase the express pass for 30 bucks more that took us to the head of the line and not wait in line for the whole day on each ride- What a concept! The longest we waited was 5 min! Thomas had a blast ! Jaws came up right in his face! He nearly fainted on the spot!I wish I had pics for that but no cameras were allowed for the ride- bummer! Brendan Had a blast too- They had kiddie things for him so he had just as much fun!Thomas' favorite ride was the Spiderman ride of course but the 3 D rides I think were the coolest! Tom n Thomas went on this water ride that got them absolutely SOAKED to the bone! they were wet for the rest o fthe day! LOl Terminator 3d was cool- Thomas was reaching out to touch the robots that looked like they ere right n the audience, then Tom n Thomas went on an E.T. ride that you pedaled across the sky which sounded cool- I watched Brendan- we took turnes watching the baby and taking Thomas on rides so we both had fun going on rides and watching the baby . All in all it was a really nice day. We did the park hopper, so we did Islands of Adventure too-we did that first, then did Universal second. We ate at The Hard Rock Cafefor dinner and ate upstairs amongst The Who memorabilia and Woodstock stuff - Very Cool! They had awesome Food And we an awesome Day! Kids were passed out by the end of the day and was a silent ride home which is always nice for reflecting on the day and grabbing a moment of peace and quiet with your sweetie .;)
