Mixon Fruit Farm Festival

Took the boys to finally check out the buzz at Mixons Fruit Festival which is JUST around the corner from my house but never seem to makit there in all these years! Nice time.. bit on the blustery , hell, WINDY side and cool, and the one day I need my scrunchie, I forget to put it on my wrist..:/ Brendan had a ball on the bouncers, & the train ride, & Grabbing a big ol sloppy slice of pizza for lunch, while Thomas enjoyed getting some heath bar fudge and homemade chocolates INSIDE the fruit farm building! Popped by friend Jill's stand where she was selling Kyani products, but missed her as she stepped away for a bit.... next Time Jill! Visited the Chickie Bow stand as well desperate for a hair tie, but found none..just barrettes n socks that were TOO cute for words! Before we left ,watched the Wallendas perform some way too high for me feats - one on a highwire, and one 300 feet up in the air on a bending, wavering pole in 30 mile an hr winds! Perfection at its finest those two I tell ya! Kids were like " what THE?? are THEY out of their MINDS!!" LOL after blowing 25 -30 bucks in like an hour, decided was time to go before doing any MORE damage to my bank account..;) But the kids had fun, I had fun checking out all the craft tents, so was a good day..:)

Look Ma NO WHEELS!! :)

Three hours later after Brendan tried to ride with one training wheel and mastered it, we then went to trying to ride  with only ONE training wheel, we tried it with NO WHEELS! and LOOK AT HIM GO!! WHOO HOOO!! Robinsons Preserve, here we come!! :) Looks like I can finally add " rides a two wheeler to his baby book now! :) 

Happy 12Th Birthday Thomas!

Today 12 years ago I gave birth to a beautiful 7pound, 6 0z beautiful little man that changed my life forever ..so much so I didn't know what I did in my life so good to deserve such a precious and wonderful gift.. he was and still IS the most sweetest , smartest, loving, polite , handsomest, and most wonderful little boy/man and today I would like to wish him a most amayyyyzing 12th birthday today! He has blessed me with such powerful love, and kindness andpersonality that it gets hard to be mad at him for long periods of time when he does something wrong.. { although lately, hes getting NOT so little anymore!! ;) Thank you Lord for blessing me with the most amazing gift I could ever receive..Thomas. Happy Birthday Thomas! Love you more than I ever thought I could love someone .. EVER. Hope you have the most awesomest day today! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 

Mom Stopped By Today..

Looks like Mom stopped by to Let us know she's thinking of Thomas on his birthday today.. hung out on the back fence for awhile, then hopped around the yard playfully, then flew off into the palm trees.. SOO cool can't even say.. The fact that "On Eagle's Wings " was her favorite church song and LOVED seeing Thomas when we would visit and had a whole collection of his pictures growing up taped to her work computer monitor where her co workers would compliment her on how big and handsome he was growing only makes the symbolism that much more awesome! Thanks Mom for stopping by.. It means a whole lot knowing you're still watching over us..I'll let Thomas know you stopped by and thinking of him on his special Day..:) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Double Awards Ceremony

Spent the morning at the Boy's school for not one, but TWO awards ceremonies.. The boys have been working SOO hard to achieve good grades and it's so nice that they can be rewarded for all the effort they put in to do so.. You can tell by their faces how proud they are, and they SHOULD be! Their faces just lit up when they saw me sitting there front row ready to cheer them on for accomplishing their goals.. Their teachers will not go unnoticed as they are the reason the boys are where they are today for providing such a fun, engaging, and rewarding teaching styles that they do.. Was SOO worried for a while that my kids were struggling, and they did REALLY well ,don't get me wrong, but since they started here their grades just SKYROCKETED! I couldn't be a more proud of them as I am today and always. Great Job guys! Keep up the awesome work! ♥

Robinson's Preserve

Headed out on this beautiful day to do a little hiking with Tom N the boys n Shane & the girls.. saw some great things like giant fish, Ospreys hangin out in their nests, fiddler crabs, giant cocoons, and lots more to be discovered.. we all hiked 3 miles and think it was JUST enough to help the kids sleep very well tonite! ;)
