This morning after dropping Thomas off at Karate camp, I unlocked the door and put Brendan down to take the keys out of the door, well he walked over to the bathroom door and pushed it open and went ummm? I was like huh? in total shock I said " you gotta go potty"? Now keep in mind, every day pretty much I have been putting him on when he wakes up and after breakfast or lunch to see if he has to go and reward him with stickers like I did with Thomas if / when he does go and praise him So he kinda got it in his head that going potty = yay! So today he went a step further and I donno if it was an actual fluke or not, but he in his way TOLD me he had to go. Good thing I was paying attention because he made a good windy followed by a good size # 2 and clapped his hands cause he knew he did good - he was so proud! He just turned 16 months not bad for getting potty training on track for that age no? Yay Brendini! Proud of you cookie!

It's Raining!!
After months of it being dry as a bone, hot a hell, parched as a stranded man in a desert- Well you get it! It hads finally happened... God just can't hold it in anymore! IT"S RAINING!! We may have had a passing shower or 20 minute "piddle" here or there, but really didn't make much of a dent in things. It's been thundering and lightening, and I mean real Cracka boom poop in your pants kinda thunder! I jumped outta my skin a couple a times and Brendan nearly had stroke here and there. My front flowerbed is flooded, basically all around the house it's flooded, my mulch is about to float away and theres 4 " of mulch there, my pond is about to overflow, and that was real low, Tom put some water in there yesterday, But still we got some good inches dumped on us in a short period of time. Granted we still need LOTS more to make up for the drought we've been experiencing this past few months but I'd say this was a good start! My plumeria was so dying of thirst you could see the veins through the leaves- I put the hose in the pot and left it on for 15 min just to help it along the stalk s had bent over and stayed that way from the weight of the them. but now I think itll be all right. Thank you Mother Nature we need this rain so very much! Keep it up even though the sun is so welcoming we ned the rain maybe nighttime when everyone is asleep an sun while were awake? just a suggestin- to keep everyone happy? ;) Here comes some more... cool!

Home From the Hills
Now that we're back from our Vacation at Dad's, I can't help thinking about what a great time we had .And how close the boys became while we were there. Now that Brendan is walking , He just wants to be with his big brother- sometimes thats a good and a bad thing because sometimes Thomas just wants to be left alone to play or whatnot, and B just doesnt understand and gets upset- Hes like "I thought we were buds! ' The things Thomas teaches Brendan is less to be desired like hand farts and rasberries and such , but such are boys I guess! We had such a nice time up therein the Catskills and they behaved themselves so nicely -there was no arguing - or jealousy going on, in fact I made it where I divided my time where we would do some special thingstogether just "US" just some quality time like Thomas and I went down to the waterfall to check it out together, which he really enjoyed, and we went on a tractor ride the three of us, or Brendan and I went on little walks, Real nice.. The weather was cool, but nice compared to the blazing humidity here was jusrt a whole other world.I can't wait to back again.Between the fresh mountain air, and crisp water, I know where I want to retire when I do! I miss my Brother and Dad already - as well as the rest of my family that I didn't get to see- Maybe another time. But what a beautiful area,. I'm already saving up to go back again! I took so many pictures , but so glad I did because now I have so many memories of fun to look back on to do again next time and even add on a few more!
