Doug & Tara's Babyshower

Got to make the trip up to attend Doug & Tara's Baby shower.. What great weather and beautiful views,  and great company and so good to see everyone again! Boy they made out like bandits! Think that sweet baby is gonna be set ! alll hes gonna have to do is smile n coo! Congradulations Doug & Tara! Can't wait o meet Him//her next time we're up! :)

On School Morning News

Brendan and a few of his classmates did a little report on Sea life and some of the Creatures that live in the ocean. This morning they were featured on the school News program- WNN { Wrangler News Network} Showing off their Artwork..They were just too cute describing their sea life they had made pictures of and told a little something about them.. Should have heard Brendan yesterday.." Mom! guess what?I'm gonna be On T.V!! Im gonna be on the news!! Love when they get all excited about things going on at school.. Can't wait to watch how he does! :)

Kayaking Robinson's Preserve

Hit up Robinson's Preserve to go kayaking with the family today..what. gorgeous. weather!  The sky was clear, weather warm,  conditions just perfect!  Saw lots of wildlife, Eagles nests, other kayakers, went into the peaceful mangroves and watched the fish jumping like crazy.. I always love coming here . We also go to do  some hiking to the watchtower which had amayyyzing views!  Cant wait to go back and do it again real soon!

Brendan slept in my bed last night..his coughing wasn't so bad as his grinding of his teeth.. Now I woke up this morning feeling all achey and miserable,& my stomach is in knots..CRUD! Dude, I love you to death n all but why can't you keep your germs to yourself? Guess it was inevitable..:(

Told You So!!!

Ok I KNEW this was gonna happen ! Apparently, Brendan caught a cold after going in the 60 degree water at the beach with the dogs Saturday.. I said for him to get out, that he was gonna get sick, his reply?" No I'I'm Nooot I dwear!".. Does ANYONE listen to my common sense anymore? Got him on meds so he'll be all better in time for his birthday the 20th..:) I SWEAR I know what Im talking about if people who just LISTEN to me once in a while!! Grr... :/

Wanted to wish a very Happy Birthday to my honey where it also appears to be Super Bowl Sunday with HIS team is playing!
