Robinson's Preserve

Headed out on this beautiful day to do a little hiking with Tom N the boys n Shane & the girls.. saw some great things like giant fish, Ospreys hangin out in their nests, fiddler crabs, giant cocoons, and lots more to be discovered.. we all hiked 3 miles and think it was JUST enough to help the kids sleep very well tonite! ;)

Sensory Nerve Study Test

From what I could make out, my right side registered lower than my left side..but then again I have NO idea what Im looking at! LOL

Went to My Neurologists this morning to do a Sensory Nerve Conductor study..or Sensory /Motor Nerve study..What was supposed to be a 15 minute test turned into an hour as with the New Government standards for the new year, I was the lucky guinea pig to be the first patient needing this test with the new requirements of what CAN be done, and what CANT in these procedures.. the guy had to keep leaving the room for a half an hour to consult with the other doctor as to the new rules and guidelines and questions to be observed etc... Lucky Me! ! Basically I get shocked like a tazer would for half an hour.( not a straight half an hour, just on and off for 5 minute intervals} . they attatch these conductor  pads to areas like my wrists, calves and pointer fingers and apply this taser like gun with sonogram gel on it to my fore arm and back of my leg{ Much like a dogs shock collar), and wrist and zap me and make my fingers and toes twitch  and measure the range..I also underwent an Electromyography test( or EMG) where they attatch pads to my neck and send pulses down my back twitching my arms like a spaz.. ( Was wondering  when out of the blue he asks me " SO, hows your back and neck been lately?'"  HUH?  Anyway, I had this done as I have been getting pins n needles in my toes n fingers and they are to others extremely cold to the touch, but feel normal to me  except when Im yelled at to " KEEP THOSE POPSICLES OFF ME! "when I go to snuggle in bed..:(..and losing feeling in them and bad back pain and stiff necks..like If I make a bath or shower for Brendan, what I think is lukewarm temperature winds up scalding him! and what seems like a nice warm shower turns out to be a steam bath on my mirrors!  Or if I stand for too long, I cant sit down or walk  without being in extreme pain!  But turned out, My bloodwork came back normal, as did my Tests.. so neither they nor I can figure out why I've been having these issues... I guess better safe than sorry right? Guess Im just a cold blooded clod with a bad back? I donno.. but its always good news to have them come back and tell you you're Normal. ;)

Hit the Park with Brendan today to get a little bike riding in with his new bike he got for Christmas.. Beautiful Day for it too!  Definitly have to go back again and hopefult bring Daddy and Thomas along! :)      

Pizza!!

Daddy's off to Texas until tomorrow night, so is just me n the boys tonite.. Brendan has been asking for hours if we could make our fresh pizza we had planned for dinner, so.... sure. why not? and BOY am I glad we did ! It came out awwwweeesssommmmeee!! extra cheese, extra sauce, extra yummy!! :)

1St Quarter awards ceremony

Went to Brendans First First grade awards ceremony this morning where he received an award for getting all E's & S's equivalent to getting all A's for the first quarter.. tried to get one of him with his classmates at the podium, but A, my camera jammed, n B- he wouldnt turn around from doing his Happy dances facing his class ..LOL but caught up w him after n had his teacher take some..:) They got a special treat w juice n cookies for doing such a great job...in FACT , in Math n Reading, he's met his goal already for the year and his teacher is going to go ahead and start him on SECOND grade reading n math material cause he just breezes right through his math n spelling and reading getting 100 s on all his tests n homework n gets bored n into trouble like talking, or walking around, so to keep him engaged, shes challenging him w 2nd grade material.. Im a proud Mommy this morning! :D

Brendans 1st Quarter Awards Ceremony

Went to Brendans First First grade awards ceremony this morning where he received an award for getting all E's & S's equivalent to getting all A's for the first quarter.. tried to get one of him with his classmates at the podium, but A, my camera jammed, n B- he wouldnt turn around from doing his Happy dances facing his class ..LOL but caught up w him after n had his teacher take some..:) They got a special treat w juice n cookies for doing such a great job.. Im a proud Momy this morning! :D

LAASST baby Tooth!

Thomas pulled his LAASST Baby tooth out this morning while flossing his teeth.. ALL BY HIMSELF!! For those of you who don't know Thomas, this kind of activity is virtually UNHEARD of!! This boy doesn't like pain, he freaks when he sees the tiniest bit of blood, etc.. So this was QUITE the accomplishment for him to pull it out all on his own! Apparently he was flossing and the string got snagged under his tooth and when he went to take the string out, he took the tooth out with it hanging by a thread!!This time he just got in there & Plucked it out himself.. My Little boy's growin up!*sniff ..:(

Roxbury 2012

Our second day here and already having fun! Kids had a blast riding out the turbulence on the plane thinking its some kinda roller coaster ride, and wanting MORE... Got to visit the captain and find out how he flies the plane which I thought was REALLY nice of him! Kids got their wings, and I FINALLY got to see my adorable nephew Quinton! OMG he is SO adorable! and a sweetheart?! Coming over tomorrow to  have dinner.. think Im gonna have to hijack him!! ;) Went exploring today, and Brendan picked me some wildflowers, and we even saw some wildlife! { Up close I might add!} came across a doe not 3 feet in front of us ! { I frankly dont think either of us knew who was to stay or run first!LOL} then saw a nest of birds and the momma bird zooming in to feed them..♥ A bit cool for the pond today, but the rest of the week is supposed to warm up so our time will come! Soo relaxed n enjoying family, gonna go have some yummy dinner! :)
